The following steps are included here to help with re-enabling a once deactivated/canceled site. If these steps are not followed, errors or duplicates in the builder may occur, and the original site will not be recovered; rather a new, blank one will be created in its place.
To Re-enable a Site:
- If you use a Google Sheet to manage locations with DevHub, go into that sheet and make sure the columns for Sync Site and Published are set to “No”.
- In the DevHub builder, go to Businesses > [Name of Business]
- In the sites tab, next to the "Add" button on the right, click on the search icon
- In the search bar, type the name of the disabled site (often, this will be the same name as the business).
- You will see a crossed-out site pop up, as seen below, indicating it is currently disabled:
- Click on Actions > Enable
- After it's been re-enabled, make sure to set the column in the Google Sheet to "Yes"
Note: If you set the sheet to “Yes” before these steps are followed, a new, blank site will be created for the business instead of reactivating the original site. You will need to change the sheet back to “No”, and go into the DevHub Builder to deactivate the newly created site and re-enable the original.
